Welcome to the little piece of Cyberspace inhabited by Emmanuel Episcopal Church, located in Keyser, West Virginia, in the scenic Potomac Highlands of the state. We're a small, loving, closely knit community of faith that seeks to show the presence of God here in our midst -- thus living up to the title of our parish, which in Hebrew means God With Us.

The purpose of this website, aside from letting people know that we exist, is to provide an introduction to the Anglican/Episcopalian tradition in general, and to the ministry of Emmanuel Church in particular.

If you would like to have more interaction with the Emmanuel Episcopal Community, you might be interested in joining our Yahoo Groups, which is an email-based news group where we share inspirational stories, prayer needs, and the text for the Daily Office Readings. Additionally, we keep our church events photos and other items there. You may join by clicking this here. By the way, it doesn't matter if you're an Episcopalian or not; we'd love to hear from you anyway.

Come Join Our Family...

Emmanuel Church cordially welcomes you to visit us for worship and fellowship. If you're looking for a spiritual home in the Keyser area, it's very possible that you may find it with us here at Emmanuel Church. We truly are a very loving, compassionate, and tight-knit community of believers, where the people aren't simply numbers or anonymous faces in a crowd. Each and every one of our members is important and cared for.

Feel free to join us for worship on Sundays, where all Baptized Christians are invited to partake of the Holy Eucharist with us. After the 10:00 Liturgy, we gather for brunch in the new Parish Hall, where we have a time of informal fellowship (and food). Additionally, Emmanuel Church has monthly social events, such as Mardi Gras and other festivities, for even more fellowship opportunities.

The schedule of services as follows:

Sunday:

Holy Eucharist at 8:00 and 10:00 AM.

Christian Education at 9:10 AM.

Tuesday:

Taize Prayer Service, followed by the Guild of Sts. Peter and Paul (Education & Evangelism for Youth and Adults)

Wednesday:

Healing Service with Holy Communion at 10:30 AM.
